For the last ten years I have been buying "distressed" properties and renovating them for resale.  Every problem I encountered in renovating these properties cost me money to rehab.  This made me get good at finding problems as well as correcting them.  This experience provides me with a unique, indepth insight into all aspects of building defects.  My job as your inspector will now be to  make sure you have no surprises once you buy (or sell) your home

My Qualifications

I began working in residential constuction in 1978.  I worked in Pennsylvania and Illinois prior to coming to North Carolina in 2001.  I hold a North Carolina General Contactors License (#52446) in addition to my North Carolina Home Inspector's License (#2316).  I am a member in good standing of NACHI (National Association of Certified Home Inspectors) and NCLHIA (North Carolina Licensed Home Inspector Association). I am also certified as a mold inspector and as Wood Destroying Insect Inspector.
